Windows Design Dilemma living room

Help! What color curtain rods for this living room . . . ?

I will be replacing the vertical blinds in my living room with sheer curtains (ivory colour) in double pinch pleat, however, I am confused on what color curtain rods to buy. I was originally thinking black, but now am considering a matt silver. Any suggestions on what would work best in this room from a design perspective?

Matte silver IMO with sheers the black would be too dark.I would like to see actual drapes in the space maybe silver tafetta with the sofa pulled away from the window to allow the drapes to hang properly.BTW you art work needs to lowered.

These are the options I have of metal rods - brushed silver, granite, brushed bronze and dark copper. I'm unable to find a matte silver without going custom. Thanks for the input Patricia, would any of the above options work in the space?

Hi, Ange, When you say 'Natural White, is it a true white or an off-white? Are there any bits of 'silver' in the rooms already, such as lamps or picture frames? I might hold off your rod decision until you find the curtains that you like, as the fabric may influence your decision. Good luck!

The 4-5-6 pics are of my living room but from the time it was furnished by the previous owners. The rest are the pics of some of my furnitures that I am going to use here. There is a red dining table with the chairs with red cushions. I am going to change the cushions now that my living and dining room are in one bog room!

Unless you plan (or don't mind) covering much of the side windows, curtains won't work. There's just not enough wall space. Shades or blinds would be a better choice. Romans, wood blinds or woven woods would work.
