In August, I took a stem off a hydrangea shrub and put it in a glass of water on my kitchen window sill. Now it has roots growing. I don't know what kind it is but it has white flowers. Do I transfer it to a small pot of soil and keep it in the house during the winter months or do I plant it outdoors in the garden area? I am in the Fraser Valley, BC - Zone 8b
