Comments (77)Also, we've changed some things in our kitchen/breakfast room area so that color is going lighter. Currently it's SW Colonnade, but will be changing to SW Glacial Stream. It's a similar tone, but I want to go lighter. From the kitchen, there's an opening to an area where the garage door is on the left side and the powder room door is on the right side. Here's the Cheerful door to the garage. If you don't like it, please keep your comments to yourself. I like it a lot, but it's a bit brighter than I anticipated. Note to self to always do a sample, not just hold up a swatch. I will not repaint it. It looks good, just personal preference to the brightness. The gray is Colonnade, but changing to a smidge lighter gray....See MoreChoosing a White for Master Bedroom
Comments (9)For white trim I would look at Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. Also remember to get a waterbased paint so it won't turn yellow over time like an oil. Inslx Cabinet Coat (a Benjamin Moore product) is very good. Overstock is my go-to for inexpensive rugs. You just have to be careful. Sometimes the color is distorted on the screen and when you receive it the shade might be slightly different. https://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/nuLOOM-Handmade-Concentric-Diamond-Trellis-Wool-Cotton-Rug/7521625/product.html?guid=3954c891-7a3f-443a-b897-b7161a4399f3&kwds=light%20blue%20area%20rug&osp=true&recalg=63&recidx=1&recset=01ecbaea-0df0-4d61-a664-9e5a45020602&refccid=23RNGLSWEVJL3HKBB3SVK3OPRM&rfmt=&searchidx=1...See MoreNeed help choosing paint color for Master Bedroom
Comments (6)The bathroom looks lovely! Since you have gray black and white there, I would think to carry something similar to the bedroom. Then you mentioned cherry furniture so maybe the gray part isn't ideal. If you are looking for a neutral though, if you did a more greige color such as Modern Gray or Accessible Beige or Agreeable Gray ( all SW) it would seem like a continuation of the bathroom color but more harmonious with the cherry and beige. Another one that might be worth considering is something like Lazy Gray or Sea Salt which are very neutral and serene as well, but have more depth and color....See MoreMaster Bedroom - White Walls - Distressed Black Bedroom Furniture
Comments (4)You may want to start saving inspiration rooms you love; it will really help if you have a direction. I would purchase the rug fist vs bedding and cushions so you have a style to build on. Be sure to use various colors, patterns and textures so it feels more interesting The headboard is high and I think art above each night stand would be more complimentary and use small brass lamps for a modern look. You could add the sign on another wall If you need a bedskirt, a more tailored style would feel more modern Dresser and tv wall - mirror, plant, chair, art, baskets...See MoreK R
