Help with cuttings received in mail

Hi, I’m a newbie in the succulent community. I have a couple of succs that I’m growing and wanted to add more to my collection. I ordered a batch of cuttings on Amazon. I don’t know if it was the stress of the trip (hot weather, rough handling?) but the cuttings aren’t in great condition. Some of the leaves are soft and limping, have black or white spotting or have broken leaves. It’s also very fragile. One of the leaves fell off while I was rearranging it for the photo shoot. And about half of the cuttings have no stem. I thought clipping from the base of the plant was a big no-no? Despite all this, I do want to try and successfully propagate these babies. They been out to dry for one day. Should I wait a bit more before putting them in soil? Should I tear off some leaves to make more room for the stem? Please help, any advice is appreciated. Thank you! I’ve attached some pics below.

Thank you all for the advice! I posted the pictures as a comment since I wasn't able to add them onto my post. It's weird that it doesn't show up for you all because I see them.. this site is kinda wonky haha.

Update- I placed the cuttings onto 1:1 c/s soil and perlite in indirect sunlight. I see some air roots on some of the cuttings. I'm so curious to see if any of them are rooting but I'm going to be patient as SoCal Stewart advises. Excited for these lil babies.

Your pictures didn't show up. Try adding them in a comment. That seems to work better for many folks.

If you also count the time that the clippings were in transit to you, they have probably callused well by now. You'll get better advice once we see your pictures.

Hi kris2001, If I were you, I would check the weatherunderground site linked below and watch for a stretch of several days where there will be no freezing night time temps. Colder temps are predicted for tonight, but I think from Mon on, should maybe be fine. I think wrapping in bubble wrap might be risky. Hopefully others will weigh in with some input. I use OE also. When I had SBC, some of my email was going to their junk mail box. I disabled it and solved my problem.

Weird Facebook e-mail I received

I definitely could and would delete it with out opening it. I have NO facebook and NEVER will however I get emails supposedly from face book about my account and related junk again I HAVE NO ACCOUNT!! It is all BS. Opening suspicious emails leads to trouble. Facebook is one of the easiest sites to hack it does not matter how secure your password is written. The code that facebook is written with is sloppy and they don't really care because after all they don't care about privacy that has been their stance all along. To see for yourself simply go to google and search hack facebook the directions are right there. Here it is in fact if you just type the word hack in the google search box the first option that pops up is hack facebook! That is how often it is searched that it is number one in the results. hack Facebook they even have nice little youtube videos to help you see how to do it.

Jenn the pictures don't show. The site has been having a few problems since they updated. It's a lot better than it was, but still a few problems sometimes.

Do a comment in here, it's a lot easier to get photos in. Good luck

Maybe try again with pics as none are showing. Seeing what condition they are in and what you have may help people be able to advise you better as not all cuttings are treated the same and to see if some are past their prime.

I'm not sure how long they were in transit to you but typically it only takes a day for the cut end to callous over.

Some cuttings are potted up with the cut end buried in your growing medium while others (like leaves) are best just laid on top. The one thing that is universal, though is to use DRY medium and DO NOT WATER until you see signs of new growth. This includes misting. No roots, no water is the mantra here. Doing so is inviting rot. Also, once you've potted them up LEAVE THEM ALONE. That's the other mantra. Don't keep disturbing them by peeking to check for roots. Lastly, keep them out of direct sunlight. Bright light is ok, but not direct sunlight.

First off, this site is extremely wonky imo and is in dire need of a new more user friendly frame. Second off your plants just need to be put in a nice fast draining mix and as soon as you see any new growth from them, give them some water dear.
