Exterior Design Dilemma Paint

Help! Colour palette for exterior

Ok, so we inherited that old cedar you see in the photo and we now want to do something with it. We are going to leave the brick colour as is but need help from you guys on what colour to stain (solid paint stain) the cedar, soffit/fascia, trim, garage, and door. The roof and eavestroughs are new so we will be keeping that.

A few things:
First, we don’t want to paint the brick...yet.
Second, we want to make the house look as modern as possible, but with subtle colour so as not to stand out too much.
Third, we are going to keep the terracotta tile leading up to the door, for now.
Last, we were thinking of different shades of grey but not sure what colour to do what with and how they all will blend together.

Need your help, guys :(

I think a gray the shade of your roof would look good and I would use a deep brownish red for the trim to tie it in with the brick. I used Benjamin Moore solid stain on my cedar pergola a few years ago and within three years it was flaking. Never had a problem with their other stains. So you might want to consider power washing the siding, priming and painting.

To give it more of a clean minimalist look I suggest a charcoal stain. First power wash the siding and then stain. I would also stain the garage door the same color as the siding. Need Help Spanish Colonial Exterior Paint Palette

Good afternoon everyone. We are in the process of painting our 20 year old Spanish Colonial Home and looking to give it a new look. The inspiration house palette we are going for is the first picture in our picture deck. Our existing house color is a Khaki Tone. The 2nd picture is a home very similar to ours in the neighborhood who painted the body the same white color we chose - "Pueblo White Dunn Edwards." https://www.dunnedwards.com/colors/browser/det675 Our HOA requires 3 colors in the palette which is a new rule, so we are kinda stumped as to the best place to put what color. We would like to replace the terracotta trim in our neighbors house with more of a deep brown tone that will coordinate with our deep red and brown roof tiles - similar to that of Picture #1 - our inspiration house. The color we chose for the Brown is called "Chocolate Chunk Dunn Edwards" https://www.dunnedwards.com/colors/browser/de6070 The last picture we posted shows these color samples (Pueblo White and Chocolate Chunk) painted on our home so we could see them in the daylight. Ignore the light camel color as we are not using that one. One difference our house has is we have a spanish style stair case in the courtyard unlike our neighbors so would like to make this pop somehow if we could. Our home has a lot of inset niches. Not as many in the front as in the back which we've attached pictures of. We also need to mention the colors we use have to have an LRV of >= 10 as the HOA does not want to dark of a color. Any help with a "current" spanish colonial/santa barbara style exterior paint palette would be appreciated. The only color we are keeping for sure is the body is Pueblo White. Thank you in advance.

I like the idea of a charcoal stain. Power washing that cedar is a priority, to make it look good. There are many brands of stain that should work well. I used to have a full cedar house and used Olympic semi transparent cedar stain on it. Held up in very cold Minnesota weather for many years.

Trendy contemporary means charcoal. Use a much lighter gray or white for the hidden front door and ceiling of the carport in front of the wood grain garage door. The raw wood fence is not doing the house any favors- can it be repurposed elsewhere? Re-use the big "82" house numbers.
