Well here is my Lil Pinkie daughter or as I understand Lora's "Lil Pinkie x Double Record" SHE IS SO PRECIOUS AND BRIGHT! (Oh God, I looked at this photo and absolutely love it. Looks like she is hugging the purple hyacynth!) From 2010-2011 Amaryllis I have to say Arif your color may be a bright pink like mine, with the naked eye...I am just having trouble getting the camera to capture true colors. Mine also comes out more a coral shade, but in person mine is a deep/bright PINK shade rather than coral. I just can't get the camera to tell the truth. I am pollinating one of these with Trentino(a trumpet)...what do you all think about that mix? I love them, Soultan!!! They are beautiful roses, and you got great shots of them! I really like the bi-color, or variegated, rose! I'm going to have to add one or more of that type to my 2008 rose order list! I would think that color combination really stands out in the garden... I've never really been interested in them before, but after seeing your picture, I must have at least one! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to this post... I fried my keyboard with coffee, and then my computer gave me the dreaded "blue screen of death"! Luckily, Larry was able to fix the computer, and I found a spare keyboard to use... lesson learned: technology and coffee do not mix! I am planning on taking new photos of my blooming bulbs and other things sometime today, and hopefully, I will find the time to get them posted... The red mini rose that I've posted pictures of is STILL blooming... we've had a few hard frosts and it's the middle of November!! I can't believe it's still blooming... what an amazing rose!! I just love the minis! I should take some cuttings from this one, and start some new plants to spread to all my friends all over the USA!! If I get good results rooting some cuttings, I will have to send you one, Soultan!

It felt as dangerous as it looks Kathy! How big is your uncle's tree? I loved seeing trees and large shrubs that won't survive winter here. I have a yard full of eastern cedars and live oaks and while I like them, I really enjoy seeing their more tropical cousins. I saw bouganvilla that were as tall as the house all over down there...and tropical hibiscus shrubs that were easily 8 feet high! Wow, I forgot I shared that Tx. She walked down the hall... then came back, asked "is SD going to be ok if I oust her from 'that' room" and I said "oh, no, sorry, you and dad are in DD's room". And then continued what I was doing. I didn't even look at her. But the energy sure was weird! I could "sense"/"hear"/"feel" her muttering to dad.... She slept in the spare room last night and DD and Gpa slept in DD's room. DH told me not to put her in there but I just didn't feel up to anything. I did not change the sheets or make the bed though. Usually I would. But I am just barely well right now. When they came back last night I said "there's homemade chicken soup in the fridge" and they weren't interested so I directed them to a nearby restaurant. Yay me. I was up coughing all last night. This virus will not go away. hahahaha the funniest thing happened though. SM came in the house last night and then I heard her and dad talking and she said something and then he said, I have to get the bags out of the car first and then she said, oh, well, are you going to want me to help with that? and he made this noise... huh-ma-gib-a - ish noise and she said "oh, (trilling laughter) of course you're going to want me to help" AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Bi-zotch! Quick Poll: Would any of you just expect your DH to carry all the bags in? If so, is that because you have a physical condition or a pre-set division of labor and you will be doing something else that is contributing to getting "it" done (whatever you need to do as a family to get ready/settled) In other words, would you ever go somewhere on vacation and be sitting on the couch yapping while your DH carried all of the bags in the house?
