Yes, for some reason, GardenWeb does not let you reply to your own post unless you change the subject title, as citosa stated. I usually just make a tiny change like adding or removing a period. Very annoying, but pretty easy to get around.

Put a couple tablespoons of each food on a plate for him. Then you'll know how much he ate (minus what you scoop up off the floor, LOL). My ped with my first child told me to feed my son for 20 mins or until he lost interest, which ever came last. After 20 mins if he was still interested, let him continue. Or if I spent 20 mins trying to get him to eat and he wouldn't, time to give it up til the next meal. That helped me put some guidelines to it.

Squirrel was very helpful to me about a month ago with a bathroom update...I have the cabinets primed, and paint determined, but we've had 2 deaths in our family since then, an out of town family wedding, and I can't forget the solid week of 2 kids with h1n1...And now I have my 81 year old father staying with us for 2 weeks. Then comes Thanksgiving with a boat load of company here...so I'm hoping by December to have the room done and will post pics then. So I haven't been purposefully neglectful ;) ...I just haven't had time to paint and be done! I will though...I am looking forward to it very much! And I promise to post pics when I'm done. Crossing fingers for Dec with no other chaos interfering!! I'll be back soon hopefully!

As far as your question, my immediate reaction was "no," but after reading palimpsest's answer and giving it some more thought, I agree that because the 3 areas are separated in both space and function, it does work. Have you looked at the various kitchens which have the island in a different color than the perimeter? If you really don't like the dark color it is now, you might also consider doing a lighter stain or even a color. We've had a couple of painted color cabinets recently that are really good looking. Not saying don't do the white, just saying consider the possibilities before making up your mind for sure. P.S. I sure hope you can find a place to recycle that granite.
