Comments (30)Don't clutter it up! It looks to me like it's just a wall along a path/hall to the kitchen. All you need is a piece of artwork. Don't put any furniture there at all! There's a lot going on already in that huge kitchen of yours. Not every inch of a home needs to be filled up. Comments (35)Since hanging bars will not help, adding the two boards -- one attached to the top and one attached to the bottom of your cabinet -- in order to create a pair of open shelves for your stack of washcloths and hand towels beside your cabinet would be the better choice if you cannot find a cabinet that specifically fits the width of the niche you have....See MoreHelp! Comments (6)I'd like it to be temporary enough to where I can close off the room as I choose when we have guests staying with us. But once they leave I could pull/push/slide it to the side for more space and daylight. So your idea is perfect! I just found soundproof room dividing curtains online. I could install a wire curtain rod the width of the room and just use that.
