Can either of these work for a British Colonial style dining room?

I love the look of a nice wood trestle table but I can't splurge on an expensive one at the moment.

Settling for Pier 1 because we may redo this currently tiny room in a couple of years which would finally open my options up to tables above 66 inches (spoiler: there are almost NO trestle tables available on the internet that are smaller than 72 inches and cheaper than 100-1500$).

I know British Colonial decor usually involves dark stained wood, but the "espresso" version of this table is way too red for my taste. Can I make a Pier 1 Bradding natural stone wash table work if I accent the room with something dark?

Option B is the Pier 1 Dawson dark walnut table for which there are no armchairs available ever because Pier 1 just didn't make them. Note the substitute pillowy Parson's chairs used at the ends (my cats would annihilate these).
