new cuttings- any red flags here?
Comments (5)Morgan, Good choice on the mist-a-matic, it should compensate for variable humidity conditions. Youre setup sounds fine. The bottom heat may not be required in summer, but it shouldn't hurt. You didn't mention if you removed any of the leaves from the barberry cuttings. It's the leaves that will draw the moisture from the stems, that do not have roots to resupply it. I always remove the majority of the lower leaves from each cutting. I hope you are using seperate containers for each type of cutting because they will all root at different times, and you will want to pot them up when that happens. I use a 6 cell pack with cells about 2" square, and 3" deep....See MoreCan someone help me search here on GW? Christmas related
Comments (14)If I remember correctly, Brutuses left of her own accord. I miss her posts too and had wondered if she had moved in yet. I do believe a couple of weeks ago I saw a short response here to someone's post, but that was it. She also posts on the building board - I love to look around the first of the month at the new home pics. I would love to see her home after she gets it all decorated. Her hubby did a wonderful job and she has some beautiful pieces/fabrics to go in the new home. Jane - I would love to find some of those mercury glass trees! tina...See MoreDid someone say 'sky pics'? (A ton of pics)

Comments (22)Sometimes threads come back after the mods have reviewed them and determined that they don't break any of the Houzz rules/terms. Let's hope that's the case here. I had not commented on the thread, but I was enjoying reading the very civil and thoughtful (IMO) discussion. ETA: Annie, I often read over at HT, but the topics always seem to end up with name calling and hurling insults making a fruitful discussion pretty much impossible. Whether it's IRL or online, at the first sign of that kind of behavior, I tune out as I figure people who do that don't have much of value to say....See More- 5 years ago
