Rotini with meat sauce and a garden salad. I love soup too and eat it year round. Yours sounds delicious.

Gadgets, were all soup lovers here also so I try to keep some of the basic soups, chicken noodle, veggie beef, and chili in the freezer which means when I cook them I make a HUGE soup pot full. Cream soups I make same day.

Today is meatloaf, baked potatoes, green beans, and applesauce (made by the boys) I also made a loaf of farmhouse white bread, recipe from Annie in the cooking forum. I used the bread machine and OMG it is delicious.

I created a 'p' meal:

Pork (chops), parsley potatoes and peas. I was going to add pudding but the pork pieces were large.

Soup will be tomorrow. Peppers (sweet, Anaheim and jalapeno) with celery, onion and garlic. I will add the last of the left-over turkey from last Sunday.

I stopped and got some nachos on the way to work. They are good but not really what i wanted. I want real food but did not want to put a bunch of groceries in the house before we left for a week.

We had a cloudy day here, so I made steak soup with all the vegetables I had. I eat too many cold meals in the summer, and hot soup was great!

Since I’m currently going keto, I made a super delicious cauliflower cheddar soup. It’s super easy, and my only criticism is that it’s very rich. So maybe I’ll add half of the heavy cream next time.

Leftovers. Hubby had Minestrone soup and I had a penne pasta casserole.

Basilcook, when I make broccoli chedder soup I use part cream and part whole milk otherwise I think its just to rich.

I fixed a chicken and rice dish. I wasn't crazy about it but my husband loved it. He would eat rice every day.

I love home made soup. I could eat that every day....even in warm weather.

We met our daughter in town for pizza. It sounds like she's going to be spending more and more time out of the country so we meet every chance we can get.

It's peak veggie harvest time here so I'm trying to 'shop' out of the garden every day for our meals. Yesterday, we made Vietnamese rice paper spring rolls for starters with a couple of drinks and then cobbled a stir fry of pork tenderloin with sweet red and green peppers, fresh ginger, broccoli, spicy rat tail radish, and toasted cashews.

We went out for our meal, the girls and son in law and granddaughter. I had chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes and bean salad. I did not caer for the chicken and noodles.

Fried chicken legs, diced potatoes with gravy. Comfort food! Stressed...

I don't know about Thursday, but Friday I had chicken salad with chopped apples, grapes and chopped up almonds. The dressing was a coleslaw dressing from the store. Coleslaw dressing may sound odd, but it is really good. All this was on a bed of romaine lettuce. Pretty darn good.

Another simple marinara meal today with penne pasta, italian sausage, tomato and cucumber salad and garlic bread.

No dessert as its family board game night and we'll have a snack than.

On Friday, we had salad topped with poached salmon. I baked a blender custard that was delicious. I avoid baking and sweets, but I had a real yen for baked custard and the blender recipe makes the whole process quick and easy.

It was much cooler today, only in the mid-70's so I didn't mind turning on the oven for an hour early this morning while I was ironing.

Last night was BLATs and corn on the cob. Tonight is going to be bbq burgers, oven fries and watermelon. Tomorrow night we are planning chicken enchiladas.

Thursday it was couscous salad -- based on the Moroccan couscous salad that Trader Joe's used to sell: Couscous, lemon juice, EVOO, garlic, black olives, red bell pepper, green onions, parsley and raisins. This time I also added cucumber, diced yellow squash, and a diced carrot. Had a peach too.

Last night it was a slice of boneless pork loin (I always buy a half loin when it is on sale, and it has been super cheap the past 2 months; I slice it down and individually freeze the slices) with collard greens, a potato and fresh cherries.

Tonight I tried some black bean rotini with frozen turkey meatballs, jarred red marinara, mushrooms and zucchini. I wasn't thrilled with the rotini, won't buy it again unless I have a compelling reason. But the meal was quick and filling after prepping the exterior doors for painting all afternoon. In fact I am quite full, but I am craving ice cream!

I cooked..and the roof did not fall in or the house did not burn down. LOL. Pork chops baked with shake and bake, fordhook limas, sweet potatoes, chow chow, cornbread. dessert was ice cream with brownies. Family liked it so that is all that mattered.
