My Citrus cool room finally set up! Hope they do well:-)
Comments (23)Wow, look at all my good friends that stopped by and had kind comments to share. Thank you so much. I hope many new ones coming here can see the kindness that everyone shares here! It means a lot for you all to comment on my trees because no one in my living area seems to be interested at all which totally discourages me. My x-girlfriend loved my trees, now no one seems to care until they smell the blossoms"-) Josh, you noticed that! Thanks:-) You pretty good too pal! Mike goo to see you buddy! Laura, I am so happy to hear of it! You have been missed here and I should not complain since I have not been at your favorite forum for so long. But you know I think of you often:0) Thanks so much for stopping by and I am so happy you love that Maple. Hey Kristopher, I am so sorry about that. i have been so sick. Better now though. I feed all year as often as I want. i feed a low dose through the winter thenup in come March. I use Foliage Pro and use 1/4 teaspoon once a week all winter. I hope this helps. if you need further info, just ask:-) Mike...See Morenancy playing catch up part one
Comments (12)Chris, It took it some time to settle in. I moved it early this spring so was surprised the blooms looked half way decent on it!. I'm sure glad you gave up on it and sent it to me cuz I sure love the pretty blooms and there are LOTS of buds on it now. Debra, Thank you! I sure wished my shots looked as good as yours...LOL! Your clump shot of Cret. Crunch has a lot more bite than mine, but I sure love it! It took a good two years settling time for it to show it's bite. Purple Side Effects was added to my garden last fall. I ordered Bass Gibson and Ruckus from Throughbred and Annette sent PSE as bonus! Purple Cheetah was added last fall as well. Jean, I would be happy to send you some banned in Boston once it cools down a little bit, email me through my page. Natanya, Adorable Tiger is even more striking in person, can't explain it, but this beauty is bright! I really LOVE IT! Candy Cane Dreams is another of my favorites. It seems to glow to me! Val, Thank you. Clarification has been a proven winner, the deer never seemed to eat it's buds....LOL Now that I have it within a protected fence, I plan to do some hybridizing with it. PSE is too new to comment. ELLIE....LOL...Does that mean that one will be on your list of wants for our spring trade list? Michelle, Thank you for looking, I sure enjoy seeing your beauties too! Been a long day folks, going to bed just before midnight for once! Nancy...See MoreA little catch up posting
Comments (6)I've found Peace on Earth to be a very good bloomer. Polymerous-I have several dips that I would hate to lose. Especially some of the doubles. Also Laura Harwood-which doesn't look like it would be a dip. Kay-I think this has been the hottest/driest year since I have been keeping a garden. I hope it cools down soon-I think we got about 5 min of rain today. That's it. Rita-Cody's Fire is one of my Dad's babies. He's done some crosses with it that are getting toothier....See MoreCatch-up Post Monday
Comments (15)Yes, I must tease a bit (lol)...Heavenly Angel Ice is a huge standout here. Love it! I've also seen it in quite a few gardens and one can pick it out immediately. Do let it settle in and show you what it can do. Love your bright and colorful pictures. The vivid red of Snow on the Cherry is great. I am having difficulty this year photographing reds accurately and purples, well, forget it (whine, whine). Is it an early morning opener? (I especially love those as I have a much better chance of capturing the color.) I hope so. Anyway, I like your picture! If I can remember how to use photobucket (don't hold your breath), I will post a photo of Heavenly Angel Ice taken here on 6/26 in way too much sun that shows a taste of what I mean. Thing is still blooming here. Amazing bud count this year....See MoreLaura twixanddud - SE MI - 5b
