Comments (17)Hello wmjc1965, My wall color is SW White Raisin. I have it throughout 80% of my home and I love it. My fabric is by P kaufmann, it is called Breeze Tapestry. I hope the link below works. If not, just do an internet search on P Kaufmann Breeze Tapestry and you will find it. I saw the fabric in a magazine and fell in love with it. It is beautiful. http://www.onlinefabricstore.net/drapery-fabric/paisley-drapery-fabric/pkaufmann-breeze-tapestery-fabric-.htm Elaine...See MoreBrown Walls, What color in custom curtains?!
Comments (9)I'd suggest the style of custom drapes you are considering were dated about 10 years ago. Shirring fabric and fringe are not even traditional home, more like horror home. Think clean lines. Here's how one home treated the two story great room by adding millwork paneling to connect the top windows to the bottom windows. You could add the paneling, drapery panels & custom pennant valances at the top. I have painted the frame around your mirror to connect to the fireplace & added a chandelier that is more in keeping with your existing casual furnishings. The crystal chandelier will not work with those current leather furnishings....See Morebeige walls, brown couch what color curtins?
Comments (2)What colors will you use as accents? Navy and ivory/white or BARN red and ivory/white would work with the brown sofa. If you choose navy, then you could accent with barn red or visa versa. These two browns aren't great together but can still work. IF you can paint, I'd go with a taupe wall color. If you don't paint, it can still work, but limit anything brown being added. A rug with a neutral taupe and/or an accent color will help break up the browns. How you style your room will help determine the colors. So think about your final product. What items, fabrics, etc. will you be adding to the room?...See MoreWhat kind of curtain/rug would go with a dark grey couch & beige walls
