My .02 cents is that to get a look like your inspiration pic you need a stone with more variation and some lighter tones than I'm seeing in the first two\ examples you posted. The last example you posted (Chambord Grey/ Eaton Accent stone) looks like it could work. As far as the darkness of the siding itself, I think you have enough trim and stonework, as well as the porch, to break up the dark siding so it won't be overwhelming ,at least on the front elevation. I think the question of if it is too dark might depend on where you live. If you live somewhere that is dreary with many overcast days, it might seem darker and gloomy. If you live somewhere sunny and bright, I think the darkness of the siding is less of an issue. Any houses around you with that color that you can take a look at?

I think it's stunning. I've used O. Branch on exterior before as well. Great ext. color. You do have a lot of it. The red windows on the garage are very well done and wonder if that same idea on the house might not be a good thing to consider. That would help break up, balance, counter the mass of green. Lastly, I never spec flat for an exterior. Usually satin, at the very least eggshell. One it looks better, IMHO and two it's easier to live with as in it repels dirt and washes up better. Overall you did a very nice job, you should be pleased.

A picture of the house would help. I personally do not like painted bricks but I might have some suggestions anyway. ;)

I am going to disagree with the door color. It is true that your current storm door blocks your front door color and makes that entry appear very much like a utility door rather than a front door entry. I would do one of two things: either remove the storm door entirely so you can see a newly painted front door or replace the current storm door with a storm door that allows you to see the entire front door. There are all kinds of accent colors that would work for the front door, but I would stay away from that dusty teal color. Go for a warm accent color. Try red. Or even a navy/dark blue. I agree entirely with the landscaping suggestions. Right now you are blocking the front and not in a good way. Give your landscaping some life. If you go with the red, see if you can have a couple of potted flowers with red in front of the line of bushes to the right of the front door to liven up the entry. If you can't get red for some reason, try a flower/plant that has some color.
