Who drew up the plans? The permits? Have the placements for plumbing and electrical already been decided upon/submitted? A well trained designer would have been in on this from the start - setting about the placements for all the fixtures. And fixtures include windows, etc. Did you work with an architect? A Design-build firm? A well established GC? Whomsoever started this project with you *should have a couple of phone numbers you could try. Personally I always recommend working with CERTIFIED professionals. And low and behold California has their own certification board. Here's their link: https://ccidc.org/ If you hover your mouse over the word "Consumers" you will be offered a drop-down menu which includes "Hire a local certified interior designer". This would be the place I start. And if you get recommendations from your General Contractor, you can use the website to verify their certificate.

I don't understand the island, dining room table and bar - are any of these built in? If the entertainment center is built in where you show it- you will need chairs to face it. You can have some conversation chairs facing the couch but day to day it will need to be where you have it.

You'll be better off using Houzz to search for a professional near you. However I can tell you right now 1that your budget is not nearly high enough. 15-20k won't likely even cover the kitchen portion let along designing and purchasing furniture for the entire place. Good luck.

You needed a kitchen designer BEFORE you did all of that. The decisions you’re talking about had to be made BEFORE stuff was ordered. Then the kitchen gets designed around the space. A 10’ pole won’t be far enough far for a pro to not touch fixing a DIY hot mess.
