Comments (16)NO I meant the connections to the actual video card in the laptop. If those connections are loose or coming not fully in contact it has an alarm that is very loud to let you know to check the connections. Things are so crammed into a laptop it is not an easy thing to check like in a tower for a pc. There is a free program called speccy by piriform that you can install and run and it gives you all the specs and details of your device and in some cases will show warnings of problems I am not sure if it would help any but it won't hurt to give it a try. Has the sound happened again once you turned it on? I noticed you said the laptop was on the floor, be sure anytime you use it that it does not have the vents on the bottom covered like with carpet, clothing, pillows etc it has to have good air flow at all times or it can cause over heating even if it does not feel hot. Comments (8)That why my outdoor feral cats have become indoor pets. I had a feral cat show up, then show up with a kitten, then she had another litter and that litter had litters and suddenly my yard was full of cats...i didn't mind as when i was a kid outdoor cats kept the rats away. But then cats and kittens started disappearing. At first i thought oh someone else in the neighborhood likely had caught it and is taming it down(we have quite a few cat fostering families in the neighborhood) but then one night i saw the silhouette of a coyote over in the yard next to us. I tried to borrow traps from my vet but they were old and a waste of time. I found a local organization that brought me a few traps but they only gave me one day to trap what i could. So i ordered a trap from amazon and got all the cats i could trap...some disappeared during the trapping, one disappeared but came back injured two weeks later...got him trapped. Since bringing all the cats in i have not seen any coyotes. But i know if i put the cats back out the coyotes will be back. i would like to build a cat run outside so the cats could spend some time playing outside as some of them are very high energy tho others not so much but i am not sure how to go about it and of course there is the cost. i do not like coyotes....See MoreJeopardy: What happened last night?
