I am suffering from analysis paralysis. I painted this room a dark gray on advice that it would brighten this dark room.

I had Simply White by BM before. That one was kind of flat looking and looked bad. This gray looks a bit better but not by much.

I wish I could add more natural light, but that is not possible. Looking for any advice on this seemingly impossible task. Thank you!

PS. The light is from the north and this room faces another building. The joys of a big city apartment!!
