Comments (7)I left work early in anticipation of greeting said cat and foster mom. We've met, and this cat never stops moving. Never. For that one reason alone, I don't know if she gets to stay. And she bit me and LF because???? We were individually petting her at different times and it must be some spot on her body. She was a stray, so I can see that. Other than that, she seems really sweet, attention starved, but sweet. She purrs constantly. She didn't really talk at all last night, but seemed more confident and did a bit this morning. She is big cat, or maybe I was just used to withering away Keegan, but she must, must, must be on top of me while I am sleeping. Next to me would better. She is pretty trainable as I can already get her to jump up on top of things (for instance when I am on the couch or the bed and I don't want to reach down to get her) when I want by saying "Maggie up". I couldn't bear the thought of saying Mishka for the next decade, and so I changed her name. She used to be Daryl. At any rate, she was looking for places to be up all evening long, but I think that may even be over with since she doesn't feel threatened by us, as she did by the alpha male at foster home; no more climbing the cat house for her, maybe. I like her, and foster mom said, you can't tell from a few minutes with her, and that she'd check in later, so I don't feel like I am stuck or if I feel like it's wrong, I guess she will have enjoyed a vacation. Or maybe she has a new home. She is obviously a Maine coon mix. She has the massive paws with fur inbetween her toes, the mane on her scruff, fluffy butt and tail, and the tufty ears. Stroke of luck there!...See MoreHow to find out of Tranny is TH350 or TH400 ?
Comments (4)IN 1970 the plant that I worked in we were building The A body cars. And every 455 engine had a TH-400 behind it. We called them M40's. M40 is the RPO code. If it had a TH-350 the code would be M38. If you could find RPO label it would have all the codes for your car. Eng code, trans code, paint code,etc.,etc.,etc.. Sometimes the RPO label is in the glove box. On the spare tire cover. On the spare tire support. For you particular car I am not sure where it is. It could be missing by now. Now that being said does your husband know anything about car? If so have him do this. On the passenger side of the car Look down where the dip stick tube goes into the trans. If there is a downshift cable going into the trans (we called it a detent cable) It is a TH-350. If not it is a TH-400. The TH400 has a single wire that plugs into the trans on the drivers side for the downshift. Another way to tell the difference is go to the passenger side and look under the car at the side of the trans. The TH400 will have a vacuum modulator in front of the dip stick tube. The TH-350 will have a vacuum modulator behind the dip stick tube towards the rear of the trans. Well I am going to have to take a rest now. This put a strain on my brain. ;>) You know its been 39 years. HTH Bob...See MoreWeek 143 - Happy 4th - what's the craziest thing you did for the 4th?
Comments (15)the craziest thing is today-I'm sitting here, and my daughter, who's birthday is July 4, is first time not with her family, but with her friends in LA where she studies. She's a big girl now, so that was bound to happen one July 4 or another..but yes..I'd say that the craziest thing that I don't really do, but it happens. Happy Independence day, everyone! you're immensely talented (once I made a chocolate cake for DS's birthday..it took me six hours..involved some special thing from the store that cost 40 bucks alone..some essence of something..he asked me excitedly "Will I get it next birthday too?!" "No", I said. "I'm afraid not" Lol)...See Morekitchens houzz help please help houzz kitchens
Comments (15)Mine came back after I did a search for a thread in kitchens. No threads from other forums showed up. Once I had found the thread I was looking for and clicked back it still showed the old GW kitchen URL. I copied it, pasted the link in my bar above. Whenever Houzz redirects me to their awful URL, I get back by clicking on my link. So far that has worked every time.
