Lots of Blooms including FFEs and FFOs
Comments (15)Well Mantis, even the greenery was gone...I just accepted that it was not going to thrive, took up the label and forgot it..then here, three years later it puts up four scapes and starts blooming. We will see if it continues. When bought Shake the Mountain from CT daylilies, Chris was concerned that it was tiny and would not survive. obviously it did and it thrived. I moved it to a better place last year and it really seems to be happy....We will see. Abilene is doing well. It has pretty colors but is not my favorite, probably because the bloom is fairly small. Thank you Julia I posted a tiny fraction of them since most people don't have them blooming yet. and I don't want to wear everyone out. kay....See MorePost With FFOS anf FFEs
Comments (25)Heather, the inventor of the doorbell did not have Chihuahuas and apparently didn't have schnauzers either...There is no need. They announce a leaf blowing in the yeard. Brad, every bloom has been perfect from the first on Exotic Starfish, It is a nice size and I am tryly enjoying it. As I said Grape is MY Favorite Color was a very lucky gift plant. It is a pretty one. And anyone can see I love Judy Davisson's intros...Great Aunt Picklebottom is doing better this second year, taller and more blooms, and I look forward to the leap year...WRPD has always done very well here. Thank you for you comments...So tell me what month would you do best to get your Catastrophe Waitress baby? July ? august? September? silly thing finally finished so t is up to you to tell me what suits. kay...See MoreFFEs, FFOs, LFO, and RSVP
Comments (11)Kay, are you not surprised by how many UFs are in this post? See how you have influenced me? :) Sherry, I cant imagine having wind all the time! I guess your plants adapt! Spider Miracle has that nice green throat that makes it stand out. Nancy, No Boys Allowed has performed fairly well. This is year two for it so that is a limited assessment! Thanks Brad-after having Spider Miracle for several years I am beginning to appreciate it many more. Debra, DV has several buds on two scapes so I hope to see more of the clean blooms in our heat. It is a lovely shade of pink. NBA has been pinker than normal with the cooler mornings-I expect it will return to normal color in heat. Nancy-Pink Jeans has that pure, clean pink color I really like. Julia-pictures could not show how impressive Yellow Mammoth actually was. Those blooms were easily 10 inches!...See MoreVery much slower, but an FFE and an FFO
Comments (14)Thank you, Sherry and Maryl, for looking and commenting on my post. That was the prettiest bloom FH has had, Sherry, but this is a first-year plant. I hate to see them bloom out, but it has been a great year. Maryl, Spoken in Parables has always been a tremendous bloomer in my garden and it is a rebloomer every year. I like to have a lot of colors and do a bit of changing either of plants or positions to get what I have in mind. I have been very pleasantly surprised in how well Rosemarie Louise is doing this first year, And like you, I seem to be drawn to Jellyroll Morton and can never pass the blooms without taking a photo. kay...See Moreshive
