Can you take a picture from further back? It is hard to advise without more context - especially on the left side - is there a white cabinet/black top there?

This picture is difficult to see what is going on in that space, but everything looks so wrong in it. I would remove that wood paneling and tile the entire fireplace area or create some type of a real mantel and drywall above it. And beyond that I can't say much more with seeing what that room actually is.

If the rest of the space is cool toned, I would paint the doors and drywall or paint the wood area above the mantle so the wood elements aren't so jarring.

If the rest of the space is warm toned I would consider staining some of the fireplace bricks so they blend better with the wood.

Sinna Sadeddin nailed it: there are multiple styles and textures going on that are not working together at all.

There are multiple styles: traditional cabinet doors in a different stain than rustic knotty wood paneling with contemporary stone and modern fireplace. The wood stains are different but too close so they look like a mistake. The TV position looks awkward and looming like it's trying to jump off the wall on top of viewers.

I agree we need a picture from further back and maybe some other pictures of the rest of the room to give some context on what to suggest.

If the cabinets need to stay, I'd try to get them as close as possible to the color of the tile that surrounds them, so they disappear as much as they can. If the wood above stays (I'd sheetrock and paint instead) I'd also paint it to blend it into the tile color as much as possible so the wall looks unified.

Sometimes there is no easy fix without just starting over! How in the world did you get out of "the loop"?
