Wolf cooktop/oven or Wolf 36" range
Comments (29)Thank you all for the additional information. The main problem I'm having is I have to decide ASAP since the cabinetmaker will not start until I nail this down - he's supposed to start Monday and we're already 8 days behind schedule. The original plan was the Viking+Electrolux, and wiring has been done already. My original original plan was a cooktop + double ovens, but that didn't work out since there was no other place for the MW. So it was suggested to put the second oven under the cooktop. I convinced myself this was better in case either broke, I could replace each easier/cheaper - this may not be true. A couple days ago I thought, why not a Wolf range (since I was revisiting the whole thing) --- but with them being so expensive, and having to redo electrical --- I thought maybe it's easier just to go with the original plan. I'm glad you sent the info on the Bertazzoni since it looks like that cooktop would actually work with my oven -- I was worried I'd be limited since the Wolf cooktop plus some others will NOT work above the Electrolux oven. So I do have some options there if I need to replace.... Thanks again!...See MoreInduction Cooktop (+Oven): Wolf or Bosch??
Comments (7)I have a Wolf induction cooktop (model before the bridge model) over two Wolf ovens. Love the way the induction and ovens work. As for induction, there is probably a lot of similarity in the way the hobs work between manufacturers if they have the same power, but the bells and whistles (e.g. how many timers, number of increments for each hob) may make a difference to you. However, the ovens are a completely different matter. Wolf ovens are by far the best cooking ovens I've ever had. Recipes that I've made for years turn out SO much better in the Wolf ovens (my husband keeps asking if it's a new recipe!). And Wolf backs its products up better than anyone else. Good idea to match the cooktop and ovens....See MoreWolf Induction Cooktop vs. Wolf Gas Cooktop??
Comments (26)I saw the newest Wolf induction cooktop and I was impressed with its versatility. Specifically, I am speaking of model CI365T/S. I really like the burner layout with the four burners that can be bridged on one side and a larger oval burner on the other side. It offers what seems to be the most flexible layout. There are other induction cooktops with "flexible" zones but they are in a layout that is less versatile, most commonly with a large round hob in the center and the flexible zones on either side. My building does not have gas so when I upgrade, I will be looking at induction. As of now, I think the Wolf is my favorite but I am a year or two out and something new may change my thinking....See MoreWolf wall oven and speed oven (E Series) vs Bosch Benchmark
Comments (3)https://www.build.com/bosch-hslp751uc/s1462192?uid=3439625 That is the Bosch I am looking at if I don't go with the Wolf E" Series Speed Oven and Wolf E" Series Wall Oven. The sales guy also said he liked Thermador and Cafe, but we're looking at a Wolf Induction and a Bosch fridge and Dishwasher so I'm trying to simplify how many brands we are using in the kitchen....See MoreRita / Bring Back Sophie 4 Real
