Carrier Infinity Greenspeed Heat Pump in MA

Hello! We are in the process of installing a Carrier Infinity Greenspeed to add central AC to our home and to add a supplemental heat source. The tech recommended setting the outside temperature cut off to 35 degrees F so the heat pump would only operate at or above that temperature. The house is in Hopkinton MA about 25 miles West of Boston. Our main heat source is unfortunately oil baseboard heat.

Do you think 35 degrees is the right temperature to set the cut off where oil heating kicks in?

Thanks in advance for any guidance while we try to optimize our heating costs for next season! I'm sure I left out plenty of necessary details so please feel free to let me know what other information would be helpful to know. I'm including parts information below for reference.
