Laurel, Wendell, and Dom, in that order. Curious that in recent weeks they have not shown Dominick to be a jerk. Maybe they just edited to make him look like the bad guy. We always need a jerk or two.

I'd love to see Laurel take the win from Wendell & Dom... but if not, then I'll root for Wendell. Sebastian has definitely done nothing to win so someone could take him to the end. It'll be interesting to see if Wendell & Dom turn on each other in the end. Might make it a little more exciting if they do. Otherwise, ho hum for this season.

I heard a radio ad for the show today saying something like you think you've seen it all before but wait till tonight's finale... hmmm. I can't imagine what could shake it up all that much but I'll watch and see!

Ready for the beginning of the end, I agree Laurel, Wendell and Dom most likely in the finale, I'll pick Dom to win, I haven't seen any of the previews so I guess it'll all be a surprise to me. lol

OMG!! The best finale ever. My person won but it was close.

Even though I picked Wendell, I thought Dom should have won it in the end. I wasn't too surprised Laurel picked W, though. I thought Dom got robbed. It was a good episode. Surprised that Survivor is still so highly rated, according to Jeff. I thought this season was ho-hum, I actually missed two episodes and have never done that. Some of those people on the jury didn't even open their mouths, what a bunch of wet fish!

I hated the tie-breaker, and think it was unfair. Dom deserved to win, but he made a huge mistake when he chose Laurel to be there.

That ending pissed me off. Seriously. Dom, whether liked or not, was hands down the best player. He deserved to win. They shouldn't have even numbers on the jury, that's ridiculous. And in this case, it shouldn't have been up to Laurel, they should have had to make fire or something. And I would have felt the same way if she had chosen Dom.

I agree also that half the people on the jury were unknown to me. That idiot Kellyn was an idiot to the end, saying Wendell was the mastermind the whole time. I will give props to Donathan, he called out Laurel for something she said and said no that's not right, and gave Dom the credit.

That ending has really, really left a bad taste in my mouth. So if it was tied and there were only 2 left, then what? Vote again, and if still tied, then what? Make fire I presume. That's what should have happened.

They need uneven numbers on the jury and go back to the original, final 2.

A tie could happen anytime, it would only take 1 person to vote for the 3rd person to make a tie.

I was underwhelmed by the whole season. I even fell asleep last night, missed seeing Donothan voted out.

Did Sebastion look incredibly stoned to anyone else, on the jury? And what a bunch of bitter bettys when they march in and glare. Too funny

I still have to watch the reunion show, I just wanted to know who won. Meh. I barely recognized anybody in the makeup and nice clothes.

I don’t know if Dominic deserved to win. Part of the strategy is to not get on everyone’s last nerve. Obviously five people on the jury felt he should not win. It’s a fine balancing act to stay in the game, win challenges and not annoy the bejabbers out of the others. Wendell managed to do that. Big year for Philly! The Eagles, Villanova and Wendell!

The whole thing the last few seasons where the last elimination is not a challenge makes stuff like this more likely. But thats why they do it.

Wendell would have been voted off when Dom won the immunity challenge. Then Dom would have been nearly the unanimous choice of the jury. No drama in that, though.

The rest of the group blended into one in my mind...particularly the girls. I liked Michael at first and when he went I was with Wendell. I think he's a great competitor, modest, smart and likable. I don't like Dom's personality but he played a good game too. Wendell should have won and would've if in the last second his stack fell. Good for Laurel for giving her vote to him. He was good to her thru out and I knew she would. He saved her once so karma. Dom was too cocky.

I know that it's a very popular show but I've never fully understood the attraction. Aside from the physical contests, the "game" part of the show seems to be similar and no more nuanced than the cliquish and childish social practices,: ostracism, meanness and vindictiveness included, that many high school girls seem prone to foist on one another.

So you don't watch, yet you complain? Your comments were unnecessary.

Elmer, i have to partly agree with you. It was the meanness and fighting that made me decide to quit watching survivor for several years. Now it's not as bad as iit was in the past. But, it seems like that's what many folks like. If you're familiar with the HGTV show Flip or Flop, they have strategically produced a new commercial taking bits and pieces to make it seem like the divorced couple are fighting amongst themselved. What a turn off and unfair to the couple!

As far as the Survivor challenges, thats why i watch the show! It brings out the competitor in me. Ok I'll admit it... i LOVE Ninja Warrior. And all those competition shows. :)

I fast forwarded thru the jury to get to the vote to see who won so I could go to bed! Not sure if I'll go back and watch what I missed or not. I'm happy with Wendell winning, he was my 2nd choice after Michael.

I was quite shocked when Probst said it was the most watched show in it's time slot... other than you all, I don't know anybody else that still watches! Even my daughters who used to love it when they were younger no longer care to watch. If I didn't have you all, I'd have no one to discuss it with! lol

I really don't agree that Survivor is mean and catty, like high school. Instead, it shows people from markedly different backgrounds having to come together and work as a unified group. I don't watch for the challenges, although I enjoy them especially when they are close. I watch because I love the social interactions. I love seeing people from extremely different backgrounds become friends. I love seeing people become empowered. It happens with at least one person per season. This season we saw the progression of Donathan from an awkward kid to an individual with a voice. Sure, he got a little paranoid at the end, but whoever thought he would stand up to the power duo at the start of the game?

Survivor is more fun when there’s a real character on, like Coach or Debbie or that Cajun guy. Someone who is so out there that you sit thru the show in stunned disbelief. Or someone so nice and likable, like Ozzie or Yao Man or Rupert. They didn’t give us anybody like that this time.

Ain't it great that we can just hit that remote button and go watch what we like. I don't comment on a show I don't watch! Since I have no knowledge of it.

sushipup, it wasn't a complaint. The words were my observations of what I saw last night.

I don't watch it (or any other TV program) regularly, only when I'm passing by the TV and get a request to sit and watch for awhile. That doesn't happen often but it did last night. I left before the end.

Yes, of course all TVs have channel selectors as well as on/off switches. I don't turn it on, I also have never chosen the channel Survivor is on, when it's on.

Okay, let's trade personal experiences. My kids, more than two, male and female, all of who finished high school in the last 15 years, would say that HS girls can be simply awful, calculating, and phony to one another. HS boys, not so much or to the same extremes. For some females it continues into the college years*. My daughter in law mentioned it once, this was her experience in high school too. She was always attractive and popular so her comments weren't the complaints of someone who had been shunned by others.

*-for some, it continues into adult years too.

I felt bad for Laurel, though, having to make the choice at the end. How do you -- in one fell swoop -- get over losing (in such a public manner) AND choose which of your friends will get a million dollars?

I didn't realize that this all happened 10 months ago!! Dom said he knew within seconds he wouldn't win. Karma. Wendell saved Laurel once and kindness paid off. I suppose the new Survivor is being played now or is over already.

They already filmed the fall season that they promoed during the Reunion show. They are now filming next spring's show. (Altho I think they sometimes film both seasons back-to-back in the spring, or have in the past.)
