Bathroom Remodel Estimate

We have recently moved to a new home and we are looking to remodel both bathrooms. We do not have any experiences with licensed contractors or remodeling in general, so we’re out of our element when it comes to price estimates. We do have contractors lined up to estimate the cost but we’re also wondering what other people have to say. We got quoted ~$33K for both bathrooms which is WAY out of our price range but I do understand the “you get what you pay for” saying. Therefore all we need is Labor cost.

I posted a rough proposed design below. We will be supplying all the materials (Toilet, Tiles, Shower enclosure, vanities etc) EXCEPT the rough materials (grout, thinset, etc.) also minor plumbing and electrical involve:
-moving shower head 2 inches to the left
-drain placement moved 5 inches
-conversion of single to dual faucet
-conversion of drop in tub to freestanding tub
-adding 1 additional gfci outlet
-moving light fixture 7 inches to the right

Bathroom floor square footage is about ~100 sqft
I know it’s labor intensive work but ~$33K seems like on the high end for LABOR or is it spot on for the Los Angeles area?
