Building a home question - concrete driveway expansion joint question

Having a new home built. Driveway was just poured and disappointed to see a wavy/wiggly expansion joint. This is a $300,000 plus new home (biggest investment ever) and don't expect a subpar job with shoddy workmanship! This was the first thing I noticed when I first saw the driveway. Trying to get builder to fix it.

Need some concrete technical advice please....what caused the expansion board to warp or move in the middle section? Poor quality materials? Over-working of concrete? Under-working of concrete?Rushing through the job? Or use of improper concrete mixture and if that is the case, I am concerned it will compromise the integrity of the driveway. Drove through the entire new subdivision and did not see any other driveways that had this issue. Should I keep insisting it be fixed? Can it even be fixed? Thanks.
