Which white for trim with SW Softer Tan paint?

We chose SW Softer Tan 6141 (on SW yellow palette) for our whole home interior paint color. Now it's on to trim. (I hate how this chip looks on my computer)

In my Ideabooks, for the main paint color, the most frequently use colors for trim were:

  • Alabaster
  • Greek Villa
  • Dover White
  • Westhighland White

I'm also interested in Whitetail and White Flour

Kitche/EIK/LR (open concept) are south facing, as is our Master bedroom. There are (7) 6-ft tall windows that bring in afternoon sun. A unique aspect: our shallow backyard brings our rust/red stained fence closer to the house, and the sun is reflected off the fence into these rooms. The morning and mid-day sun bathes the rooms in this warm color, most of the day. We only have one north-facing bedroom.

This color will be on 6" baseboards, doors/trim, and window sills (no crown moulding).

Do I test trim colors like wall paints? On boards and/or painted on the trim itself? I have paint sample boards of the main color, so I could paint 'test trim' on the boards and place them in/on the door areas.

Thank you.
