BM Off White Trim Color for Bricktone Red?

My existing family room color, which I mixed many yrs. ago, is deep red. I need to repaint and have decided on BM Bricktone Red. Would you please direct me in the right hues that I should use? My room is north facing with a porch overhang and gets very little light. One whole wall is bookcases which will be off white. Should I look for a yellow, gray, beige or green tint in the off white?
Some of my selections have been White Down, Timid, Albescent, and Maritime but I do not trust my judgement after looking at so many choices.
Bricktone Red has a slight Rose Pink cast in certain lights. Thanks!

Comments (6)I would just change the sheen unless you want more contrast. I would not use White Opulence in this situation because they are both too close but too different. It would be just "off" in that head scratching way. Comments (15)jacilla, that came out really nice. May I make a suggestion? replace the mini blinds. (they're horrible in a kitchen to keep clean) A diff window treatment would really jazz up that spot a bit. here: just a nice roman blind in a soft black/white pattern, some small green plants, and some cutting boards behind the stove. this blue/white ikat roman shade is cool or, some zebra blinds? and nice accesorries This Zebra Easy Roller blind in the blue gray is pretty diff colors woven wood blinds just showing you diff color combonations. maybe a blue/gray material that plays off the countertop Levilor Natural Woven blinds solar shades...See MoreBM white paint color goes w red oak floors refinished w nordic seal?

Comments (8)Thank you, but to be clear, it's not an option to repaint the trim and moulding a different color, because it's the same throughout the house and we're only repainting one room. We're the ones who painted it 17 years ago, and we still have the same color, which is off-white. We'll repaint the trim with the original color so it looks new, but my husband is vehemently against repainting the trim in a different color, so that's not an option. Not worth getting a divorce over, ha ha! So, back to the question, if the moulding is off-white, (cream, even) will the ceiling look weird if it's white? Is it better to have the moulding and the ceiling the same color (off-white)?...See Morepcweary
