leela I am awaiting a sample to pour oil on & scour with grease cutter. this will help me decide lol. bdrl I will look for your post. I know, but I plan on degreasing to clean daily. At least I hope to.... from what I understand, the oil doesn't get absorbed into the stone and can be degreased. it will patina around the heavy oil areas like the cooktop, but should be able to blend well if I use a degreasing agent. I will test my sample when I get it. I have other soapstone that I used dish soap to clean it, and although not as light as unoiled, the oil spot fades pretty much with dish soap cleaning. mamagoose, love that mock up! thanks! Is this real stucco - ie lime /cement based? If so consider using a silicate aka mineral paint which chemically bonds to the masonry vs. an acrylic film that sits on top. Cost is comparable to good quality paint and another benefit (or so Ive been told) is that because it uses actual mineral pigments vs chemical colorants, the look of the paint itself is more luminous and attractive - would give a softer, earthier & less glary look to the white. https://limeworks.us/

I agree with @cat_ky . It looks fine. Add red geraniums on the sunny sides and red or pink impatiens on the shadier sides. Next fall, plant a hundred daffodils or tulips. It looks like your roof is a bit green in places- check to see if it needs cleaning.

Chantilly Lace may be B.M. whitest white. With the high LRV, there is barely any undertone. I just finished a Master Suite for client and chose Chantilly Lace, in a semi-gloss finish, and I was thrilled with it. I also did the ceiling the same, but in flat finish. Lovely.
