Help! Need to pick a different gray color for outside of house!
Comments (11)Hmm....you guys might be right. I think the accent area (that is silver now) is too large of an area (going from top of second floor to botton of first floor) and thus intrudes as a result and almost makes it look like silver is the main house color (which obviously it's not). If you looked at a front profile of the house, the stone would take up the most space with the silver being second and the blue third, even though it's the color of the rest of the house. I've seen a house or two that was blue that had gray accents on the shakes but the shakes only were at the very top of the second story (they didn't come down all the way to the first floor). They were truly a small part of the front of the house...hence accent. Factor this in with the fact I have a cherry stained wood door and wanted to go with wood garage doors and having five colors (blue, gray, white, stone which is really a tannish, and then a dark wood) probably is too much....See MoreNeed help picking grey paint colour
Comments (3)You've got lots of black elements in the kitchen too- they will play nicely with the gray. Paint big samples of gray on poster board and then pick the best one. Maybe you could get some black counter stools too....See MoreGray coat is done now I need help picking a stucco color! Help!
Comments (0)The picture is a in progress one! We will be stuccoing the block wall. I live in the desert above Palm Springs and our house was built in 1976 and we but in new bronze windows and are having it re-stuccoed. We had a very thick outdated stucco. I was originally thinking I wanted a white house and maybe a blue green in the front door alcove area. Maybe put some southwestern touches like maybe rustic wood under the windows and some iron work between the two front windows. We will be changing the front door and landscaping when we are finished with the color. I would be open to a darker color... Anyway I am stuck and need help on color. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!...See MoreNeed help picking bathroom paint color
Comments (3)Do you have the vanity already? Do you know the paint colour on it or can you find a match close to it with a paint deck? The easiest thing is to follow the paint colour suggestions that the paint companies offer on their websites. For example. The vanity looks a little like Benjamin Moore North Sea CC-932. The suggested coordinating colours are: BM Blue Heather - 1620 BM - Weimaraner - AF-155 BM - Meadow Mist - 936 Based on the BM coordinating colours, I think the SW Rain might be a really nice choice. But the best thing is to get some samples and try it in the space....See MoreHU-952989256
