Ok - so I know Galbraith and Paul is too the trade - and very expensive. But would anyone be able to tell me approximately how much per yard the Lotus pattern fabric is? Before I track someone down who can help me with acquiring it for a chair - I want to have a reality check.

Have you guys seen the Thomas Paul fabrics at Calico Corners? They don't call it out as "Thomas Paul" but it seems to be. Anyhow it's fabulous. I'm dying to get some and it's not expensive----about $20/yd. Go to the calicocorners site and click on "new spring fabrics". Then see "The Modern Zone Collection". It's killer. THEN I saw that Target online is doing chairs and screens in the bird and flowers print. Now THAT'S killing me too. You won't find the Thomas Paul name, but if you search on "bird flowers upholstered" you'll get all the chairs and screens. Here's a link to the orange chair. It also comes in gold, sky blue, maize, moss, earth (brown). I swear I'm losing sleep over these and all the fabrics at calicocorners. SO cool. Well, I posted my lights on eBay and will do Craigs List as well. Fine Art Lamps discontinued them in October/November from their Casa di Campagna line so there aren't many stores still carrying them.. Maybe that will help me sell them. Who knows? I had emailed my salesperson but didn't hear back. I'll give it a few days. That's a long shot anyway. Of course, I did not order ANY new lights yet til I am sure!!! : ) I just wish I didn't spend so much on the originals.... Nothing I can do now though- hopefully I can get most of it back!

Circus, Those are lovely. I am going to have a lot of fun going through them. I WAS trying to keep costs down and reduce the "time sink" by only choosing from among Calico Corners lines, but you have tempted me. I just wanted to avoid one of those marathon day long sessions going through fabric books. I thought that was fun the first 10 times I had to do it, but now ... Allison, Hmm I might have mentioned wall paper for the backs of the glass cabinets... Anyway, I went to that site, and I am just drinking up those photos. Either I missed or have not yet gotten to the yellow kitchen; but so many wonderful images to steal from. Also, let me go back and look at the unfitted kitchen recommendation. I think it may be more elaborate then what I am trying to pull off. LOl, Dee Thank you Holly-kay! Lyban, Thanks, I do think it will work in both rooms. And since one leads into the other, Id like the continuity. There is a set of double pocket doors, but I doubt we would close them much.

It looks like 5 yards is the minimum, rather than 5 rolls. 5 yards isn't very much paper, even for a small area.

wow. thank you. i saw the link on inside fabric but there was no $$ listed and since I wasn't 100% certain thought I would wait to inquire. Now I am glad I waited! I was thinking high might have been $175 (which is still high to me!) but $300 is out of question. Thank you for saving me some embarrassment!

It is basically all hand printed to order. It was not within my budget...
