Just some pics, all planted last year, q. re: last one
Comments (4)Beautiful! I wouldn't be worried about the last one, although I don't personally know it. It's still alive, there is new growth. Could be that it's just a slow grower, there are a lot ot those. chris...See MoreComments vs Views
Comments (43)I would also be interested in the number of viewers-- purely out of curiosity and as a measure of what is important and of interest to others. I post often but in spurts.. there are some days I dont visit GW at all and some when I am more in the mood to read than participate (I *always* have an opinion-- but I don't always want to put in effort to share it. Iowa, no need to be timid. As I said, I always have an opinion but I don't have any special skills to make me worthy of posting on a topic. I'll jump in and talk on a wide range of topics with only my experience, opinions and aspirations. Sure, there are some tangles at times.. and I could see that they might be intimidating.. but they are usually short-lived and focused on a specific topic. Just like in our "real lives" (though I consider this forum an extension of my real circle of friends), sometimes the people around us have bad days. Even me :) So sit back, relax and jump in when you have something to say!...See MoreLast comment read on thread
Comments (19)Holly-Kay, I think that might have been a thread about using an iPad. I'm using my MacBook now. I just hit Command-down arrow and it plunges me to the bottom of the page. I do need to scroll up a tad to hit the last comment, but it all happens in an instant and I don't even have to think about it anymore. I'm reluctant to use the Comment method, as you then have to get out of the dialog box and move up, with the off chance of making an errant comment....See MoreCan't view Comments on News Sites
Comments (2)Reboot the router and modem and see what that does, because it sounds like it could be related to that. Reboot the router means un plug them for a while then re- plug them in. This will give you a new IP address from your provider and clear the DNS. Or you can do this too Copy and paste the text in between the stars below into Notepad. ************************************************************************************ @Echo off pushd\windows\system32\drivers\etc attrib -h -s -r hosts echo 127.0.0.1 localhost>HOSTS attrib +r +h +s hosts popd ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew ipconfig /flushdns netsh int ip reset all netsh winsock reset catalog shutdown -r -t 1 del %0[/code] ************************************************************** Save as a flush.bat to your desktop. Then Right click flush.bat and select "Run as Administrator" your computer will reboot. ________________________________________________________________ It's a simple batch file, can be effective for internet related issues. I suppose it could also be related to a slow internet connection too. In any event give the above a try....See Morekootenaycapable
