Help me perfect our throw pillows - curved sofa
Comments (84)UPDATE I just received this Fornasetti pillow from Etsy -- it's an outdoor pillow and I intended for use on our deck. However, I kind of like it in my office. What do you think? Perhaps it can live here during the off season....See MoreThrow Pillows - Buying the correct size pillow covers to match an exis
Comments (2)The way it works is that the cover you're buying will fit a 20" x 20" insert. So they give you the size of the insert, not the cover, per se....See MorePillows and throw grouping
Comments (3)you have a lot of white. You need some contrast. Try something on that large wall over by the dining table. Art, shelving, a tall plant in the corner, if you have room for a buffet, even better. I'd also do a diff type of light, lowered. the current one is too high and just disappears into the white background. The sofa, try a mixture of colors/patterns, and a darker throw. Here, let me show you what I mean See? much better. I added art, a vase w/twigs, an ORB and gold chandelier(lowered. should be 30-36" from the table) diff pillows, and throws. I can't see the rest of the room, so this is all I got! Personally, I'd paint your walls. or at least one of them, this killer black or charcoal color. I love this one too. Look at the sofa color like yours, and all of the accessories around it. if you like the white and bright, that's fine too. but bring in some art, some pattern, some design elements. this one has white curtains like yours. but they have some interest w/the tall plant, the diff pillows and the long shelf w/framed art displayed. (go for like subjects and frame styles if you do this)...See MoreNeed throw pillow help for my white sofas!
Comments (107)@blfenton made the suggestion to add a touch of violet with the pillows. With your orange and green, she is headed to a triadic color scheme and one of my favorites. Just in case you wondered if there was any basis to the suggestion. Currently you seem to have an analogous color scheme with orange, gold, and green. Generic, this is a beautiful room, you have great taste, so I'm sure you find the perfect pillows....See MoreLacey
