Thanks! Yes, the grout is grey -- I think it's Tec "Dove Grey." I did another bathroom with crackled white subway tile and used Tec "Silverado" there, which is a bit lighter than this. The DalTile is the K101 color which the tile store told me would match my white Kohler fixtures -- I have to admit, though, that the tile is darker than the fixtures so I have wondered whether one of the other shades (arctic white?) would have been a better match. The lesson learned is to compare a tile sample to your fixtures.

Thanks, rorah, and others. I tend to gravitate towards cool vs. warm colors here. Can you try a mock-up of the Stonington Gray since I have two gallons of it? Also, maybe the Powell Buff. Not sure about Kangaroo. ?? I would likely need to stop at BM and see what kind of samples they have of these colors. DH does like the Nantucket Fog, and he said he was skeptical about the gray for a BR. So, in all likelihood, we are going to end up keeping it, so, yes, that means painting the bathroom. At least I don't have to hire painters to do it. I have had some issues with balance and vertigo over the past couple years, so I did not feel comfortable taking on a job where I'd need extended time on a ladder or step stool, but I'd be able to do that small space. I could send DH up on the ladder, but I'm the painter. He is a wonderful man, but he is not handy at all. I've done this entire interior on our house except for this BR. If I did it while he was home on a weekend, that would be OK for safety. I'll probably need to sell the leftover Stonington Gray on Nextdoor. I also have 3 gallons of primer. They are about 2 years old but have never been opened, so I'm sure I can't return them. Depends on the size of the wall as far as tiling the whole thing or just a section. If the wall is small - go for the whole thing - bigger impact. I would choose a lighter color tile/stone - or even a combo. There are some nice stone options with stainless steel or glass accents that would sparkle a little. Make sure the tile/stone has some of the greys/blues of the concrete so it's not in stark contrast.

If you're looking to paint match any of your whites, try the Color matching apps from BM or SW. As for BM whites that aren't too warm or cool, look at Cloud White or Oxford White. They also have a pretty pure white called simply "White" (OC-151). Whatever colour you're considering: buy the test can or those Samplize decals.
