BM green for a man room/studio

My husband is working on a music room/studio. Trying to help him pick paint samples. The room is dreary and windowless (apparently a plus). It will have serviceable medium grey carpet.

So far I’ve heard that gray is boring, blue is out, no brown, so I think we are looking at greens.

He doesn’t want any pastels like Guilford Green (understandable), he doesn’t want anything too light but the Nantucket Grey and Lousibourg Green we tried (right hand in first pic) are too dark and dreary.

Any suggestions for a green that would appeal to a conventional dude and look good with a bunch of music gear (and guitars)? Maybe something that will warm/cozy up the space a bit.

Ps as always I will be painting 1 billion samples, just hoping to narrow it down before spending my customary $$$ on samples at the paint store.
