That's what happens when it's not painted properly. It's a different story when brick is painted with the proper prep and product. With that said, the look you have right now is a look people work really hard to achieve. The flaking paint on brick might just be serendipity. We have Kilim Beige in our basement. We love it. As I recall, the BM salesperson said that Kilim Beige was their number one selling color.

I would not do warm colors on this house. you have a very cool blue/gray silver roof. and the house is more contempary. You picture is very small and it's hard to photoshop anything, but here's a more streamlined darker garage door w/windows, and your door is painted a charcoal. for the body you could try one of the cool, slvery blue tones. wrought iron for the doors.

I was thinking of the 2 stepway lights - houssaon's mockup removed one, and I think that makes more the look you might be talking about.
