Help with spacing recessed lighting on sloped ceiling

I'm trying to layout my recessed lighting on my sloped ceiling. It's 9' at the walls and approx 15' in the center peak. My architect had no clue and i live in the middle of no where so trying to find a lighting specialist isn't realistic.

The great room and kitchen is approx 37'7" x 24'3"

The recessed lighting will just be for ambient light. I will also have cove lighting along the 9' walls (left and right in the floor plan below) as well as some task lighting for the kitchen, dining area and couch/reading area.

The recessed lights i plan to use are/similiar to SLD4 LED or SLD6 LED or a cheaper brand like Cyber Tech Lighting with the same specs.

±800 Lumen

80 or 90 CRI

I believe i want to go 3' from the walls right? I know the rule of thumb is half the ceiling height but that doesn't really translate well on a sloped ceiling. I do have approx 20" wide flat "peak"

Looking for any input to this.
