JeCrigler: what mattress did you get? Was it a by mail order mattress or did you go try it at a store? I'm going today to try out the Revive mattress at Living Spaces.

I bought it on Amazon. It was in this tiny box. I can’t believe how small it was in there. I bought a Casper since it has a guarantee if I don’t like it I can return it free.

My son took it out of the box and it fit my bed frame. Unfortunately he put it upside down. I also didn’t follow the 72 hour rule and I gassed myself and had the worst migraine around 2am. Very bad. (It let’s off gasses for 3 days and they’re not kidding)

My son came over in the morning and saw it was upside down. I also put a box fan blowing on high for 1 day. It says to sit outside or in a garage for 3 days to let all the gas out of it and to allow it to fully take on air and expand but it was 10 degrees outside so I didn’t follow the rules. All my fault.

However by night 3 I was sleeping better than ever. It’s not hot or cold. Not even soft or firm. It’s so hard to explain since it fits my body exactly each time. I can’t attest to the longevity but I hope it has 10 good years at least!

Were you looking at this one? That’s an excellent price and adjustable. Looks comfy too!

I know an adjustable base works with some spring mattresses as my mother had one in the early 80’s I believe, long before foam beds were invented. But the foam today is much more flexible. Hers was like a hospital bed. Extremely heavy and very comfortable.

Had to jump in here. I got my foam & gel mattress from Sam's Club about three years ago, and absolutely LOVE IT. You do have to let it breathe for a couple days after taking it out of the box. It is so very comfortable, and not hot at all due to the gel. And, after three years, it's still in pristine condition. No sags or bumps at all (unlike my previous pillowtop -- hated that thing)

Ditto on my previous pillow top mattress. There was a permanent indentation of my body on it. Since it’s impossible to flip & rotate there wasn’t anything to prevent me from always sleeping on the left side as both rotations end up being my on the bed.

Yes, I’m obese at 200 pounds and those springs just gave out. So far this foam one poofs back up when I get outta bed.

I made it to Living spaces. I didn't care for the all foam type mattresses they had but I did find another mattress that I am considering.

It's their brand Revive, but it's a hybrid, combo of coils and foam. It was set up on an adjustable base so I got the full effect if I were to get the adjustable base. The base itself would run $695. which isn't bad considering most start at about $1000.

I think you would be happy with this one but it’s out of stock. Luckily you’re not in a dire rush for a mattress.

This one earns an “A” in my book.
