Monstera Plant dropping

Hello there! As you can see on the picture above, my Monstera is not doing well at all. (I’m a beginner at this, just putting it out there.) I’ve been moving it a lot from different corners in my room, because of how the leaves twist and turn towards the light - and yet it still doesn’t get any holes in its leaves. I also water once every two weeks, but this still seems to make some of the leaves turn yellow and then die.

The soil looks and feels very dry, but every time (as said before) I water it, many of the new leaves turn yellow/brown.

Should I change the dirt/soil it’s in and maybe place it somewhere where it can expand it’s leaves? I’m sorry for how it must look like I don’t take care of my plant, but I wanted try something that wasn‘t my many cacti’s that I have around - and I am just not yet familiar with what I should be doing.
