I need help with decor on a small Living area.
Comments (24)I would move the wing chairs facing each other directly, so that they make a U shape with the sofa. Cushions. Put the yellow cushion on one of the wing chairs. For the other wing chair, choose another bright color from the painting and buy a cover for the black cushion. To test this look, find a scarf/tee shirt/anything to wrap the black cushion in. Leave only the matching cushions on the love seat. Bring back the plant and put it near the window, raising it slightly and centering it in the space so that it fills the corner better. Center the tripod light in its space too. I don't see a good place for your end tables. Definitely not blocking the traffic path. Take all your family photos (from the end tables and from the top of the secretary desk), and make a gallery wall where a person can walk right up to them and see them easily. Hallways are great for this. If you prefer them in this room, put them on the short wall to the left of the kitchen where you now have one small piece of art....See MoreHelp decorating living room/dinning area
Comments (1)Hi Stephanie. First of all, congratulations on the house. It's really beautiful. I would like to help you visualize your room in an interactive 3D build where you can play around move things, add or delete. To be able to do this I would want your floorplan as the build will be a mock-up of your room....See MoreJust moved into new home. Need help with decorating living area.

Comments (49)@tracefloyd, love the ruggable carpet you recommended us a while ago. We ended up with this set up because we got a bench from some friends that fits very well at the entrance. We just ordered an mcm - walnut irregular mirror that will go on top of the bench at the entrance. I know the sofa would be better a little bit pulled back but there is not enough space in the dining area if we do so. Apologies for the messy room, but would any of this wall arts fit well? Isn't it too crowded? Any other art or deco ideas for the wall are welcome. Ty!...See Morestudio10001
