Design Dilemma Furniture Bedroom

Dresser Color for Bedroom

I've got a white cottage style bed frame from Crate and Barrel and 2 shabby chic white nightstands with french style applique. All 3 are pure white--not distressed at all. My friend said to get a gray dresser to have a pop of color. There are 2 dressers on the Houzz site that I was was eyeing--one is a distressed [white distressed dresser and the other is blue https://www.houzz.com/products/monaco-5-drawer-chest-prvw-vr~85271468[(https://www.houzz.com/products/chalet-white-bedroom-chest-prvw-vr~92538477)

What do you think or neither? Any suggestions?

I'd go thrift store shopping. The distressed picture looks terribly fake. Find something with real character. When you find the right vintage dresser, you'll know it and won't have to think about whether it is white, wood, grey, or another color.

Gray is not a pop of color. Pick something vintage with color and character.

Of course--many people prefer that they NOT match. Another possibility is to find a bed with a complimentary color, so that it doesn't look like a near miss. It is your bedroom which likely no one else will ever see. Get what pleases you.

Yes, I think pink is a beautiful color for a master bedroom! The trick is picking the right pink and then balancing it with other elements that are not overly feminine. I love pink and brown together, or black. When choosing a grownup ink go to the brown section in your color deck. As you move up to the lighter colors you will see what I refer to as dirty pinks. These are softer, more pleasing pinks that men can love.

Not sure what you're asking. Are you looking for specific furniture in a white finish? What other colors are going on in the room? It would help immensely if you could share a photo of your space and a better idea of exactly what it is you're looking for.

Believe it or not there's not a ton of good pieces here in LA. I've been looking for a long time--months actually. There was a store that sold great stuff, but she literally closed shop the week before I was headed there. I've been looking on Etsy, but shipping is a fortune--more than the pieces.
