Error 19 in Yahoo Mail

Looking for ideas on why I sometimes get this error when sending an email to one of my other nonyahoo email addresses.

I compose the email, try to send and get the error. No problems with Windows/Firefox. Happens with the Amazon Fire Tablet / Silk Browser; not always, sometimes. Finally decided to ask. The email is saved in the Draft Folder.

Occasionally, issues in Yahoo Mail can cause "Temporary Error 19" or "Error 999" to appear. These errors are usually temporary and will correct themselves within 30 minutes. If the error continues, here are some common causes and suggestions for fixing "Error 999" or "Temporary Error 19."

Yes, I had already read that but failed to resend when I retried. The only way I can get it to resend successfully was to wait until another day and theeeen send it.

My original Yahoo-based address was "@yahoo.com", before they made the Canadian system different, and the later one was "@yahoo.ca" ... both were working O.K. about a half hour ago, and I've been using the U.S.-based one without trouble. Sometimes recently when I wanted to send an email, I've been blocked, claiming that it might have been to a questionable address, or perhaps too many addressees (and sometimes a larger number seems to go O.K.) - to try again later ... or call them. On some occasions the "later" works. ole joyful

I had a bit of a problem getting some sent a couple of days ago, they said to try again in an hour or so ... ... and I left the page sitting, opened another page and worked there for a few minutes, then tried again, and the message went fine, sometimes giving me some twisted letters and numbers to copy, to ensure that it's a warm body on my end. They've blocked me a few times lately, saying that they've been wondering whether I've been sending spam, to please check my addressees (maybe too many?) but some were to only one or two. Usually got them sent, eventually. ole joyful

I too have been running unto minor issues when I use my Yahoo email service and Yahoo website in the past week or 2. I do have another email account and that one is stable; so is the rest of my computer. For sure something is going on with Yahoo/AT&T. About a month ago, Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, Hotmail and some other email services got hacked into. I'm guessing that Yahoo/AT&T is trying to resolve this problem which is resulting in unstableness of their programs, websites, email, etc.. By the way, you can check whether your Yahoo email account got hacked by checking at Yahoo's website below. If yur did, you'd need to change your password or contact Yahoo for instruction. The best permanent solution to avoid ongoing Yahoo mail problems is to switch to Gmail.

I don't use webmail with silk on my fire tablet. You are better off using a mail app with that device. I find a mail app works the best on all my mobile devices. The one built into the fire is quite nice. Mary
