I have never seen a firefox add-on called that, I did a search on firefox extensions page and nothing with realplayer in the name even came up. That is a new one on me. You can always try getting Real Player again should you find you need it. Or you can get something like Real Alternative which will play Real stuff and is light and easy. Marilyn_Sue, As Adellabella and Jasdip said, it's now a two step process. You put your e-mail address in, press enter, then your password. I just hope it doesn't go like Google. I have a work account at Gmail and they put cookies in to force you to have a single sign in, but I don't want to be signed in as work on my personal stuff. It's too much trouble to delete the cookie, every time, so I only check my work e-mail on my iPad. Which is very inconvenient. I sometimes have to work on Google docs on the computer, and then I have to deal with the whole thing. I don't know what people who share a computer do! Yahoo just offered to do a similar combined inbox thing, but it seems to be voluntary. So far. After you sign in, it may prompt you to add a cell phone number. In little blue letters, there's a "skip for now", which you can keep on skipping. At which point, it might dump you on the Yahoo home page. Jasdip, As to the length of time to draw an e-mail, it's probably a bandwidth issue, especially if you're getting HTML videos with a lot of visual information, rather than text. It can multiply if your computer is older and your display is slower. If it's taking a lot longer to draw than a web page you haven't seen before, it might also be advertising. DLM2000, I'm fairly certain that friend #1 uses his phone for email, and it's more complicated because he owns his own business and domain, including email domain. I tend to use either a desktop computer or my ipad for yahoo email access, though I do use my phone for access on rare occasions. If he uses his phone, and I use my computer or ipad, then there's a chance we're using different internet providers for that access, but I don't see why that would matter. An operating system incompatibility is possible, I suppose. I use apple products (ipad/iphone), and my computer runs linux, and friend #1 and my sister both use android phones for most of their access. I think my yahoo email is up to date, but I will check!
