Daylily Alphabet 2012--The Siloam's
Comments (10)I was thinking the same thing myself...the Siloams should have their own post! I know I have a lot of them, which were all acquired last year. I kind of went on a Siloam 'kick' last summer...haha. Some haven't bloomed yet, but these are the ones which did. I love these cute little bloomers...they are so hardy here! Comments (38)Is Panic in Detroit a crispate? Paige's Pinata was always weak here. Palace Garden Beauty has been a bit frustrating because of sometimes quirky opening. Paradise Bar and Grill --more recent Hanson that has been sought after. Pink Lemonade Party --would be happier farther south Parable of the Net --comes off more pastel in garden Ohio Skies --have a hunch this will not be a strong grower in the garden (Hanson) Peggy Jeffcoat --lovely Part Time Princess --made a great show this past year Purify My Heart --seems to have been weaker the past few years Peggy Bass --lovely, but not really well budded Orange City --Dick recommended it, but it has been reluctant to bloom so far Purple Tempest --an old Webster that really attracted attention in 2017...See MoreS SPACECOAST daylilies only! 2018
Comments (19)Spacecoast Seashells ....... I almost lost this one last spring with the sitting water that kept freezing and thawing . Hoping to see it has recovered this spring . I also grow Spacecoast Starburst and remember being so stoked about adding this one to my gardens years ago. Many daylilies and many more moments of being excited adding new plants since then , this one still makes me happy. I added Spacecoast Sharp Tooth and Spacecoast Spice Girl last season but late in the season so really looking forward to seeing them bloom this year . The next Spacecoast I would like to add is Spacecoast Frances Busby ....See MoreBest Yellow Daylilies of the 2018 Season
Comments (41)Thank you for liking my seedling! It is still too new to judge its merits but it certainly has potential. Wow, looking back at this thread again, I see some gorgeous garden shots! I am drooling over all this loveliness. Sherry, though Stella D'oro flowers maybe plain, your placement of it among the hostas and heucheras is perfection! It elevates this daylily to first class and showcases its flowers and foliage beautifully! Julia, I love that combo of Enter Laughing with the purple coneflowers in the foreground and the purple flowers in the background. Wow! Too lovely for words. Celeste, Cheddar Cheese is just marvelous in that group shot! I also love your combo of Living in Amsterdam with the blue clematis next to it and the coral daylily in the background. Wow! Nancy, LOVE the gold shade on Tidewater Elf and the beautiful poly It's Miller Time. Kate, your NOID is just spectacular! I love the pic with it blooming in the foreground and the other daylilies with their blooms popping in the background. It is like a sea of blooms!...See Moreperen.all Zone 5a Ontario Canada
