OT: 'Skyla' & 'Shamus' Due Date!! :))
Comments (26)Thanks for the 'congrats' everyone! :) SJN - Close to your birthday! humm! Kylie - 'Nieko?' Nice name! :) It will be a little male that I keep. So 'Bay' is out of the question. lol! I've got a few names in mind. I may have to start a 'Name The Puppy' thread! :)) Mary - It is hard to let the little ones go. But I have four sold already. (I hope she has at least five this time.) Three to good homes from people at work. And the 'Entergy' (electric) guy wants one for his 16 year old son. (I think he actually wants one for himself!!) lol! Kristy - Actually it's 'Great-grandpa!' lol! Lucy - I have a couple of names in mind! :) Eloise - The one & only litter she had - ALL four were white with blue eyes! We'll have to wait & see what she has this time. :) I always say 'I hate work' - but I do love my job! ((And I'm only keeping ONE!!)) Karyn - Baby gates work wonders - even for adult fur-babies! lol! Lucy - A headache??? rofl!! I wish it were that simple! Barbra - Puppy shower sounds great! :)) Dorothy - Very cute pic!! Mike...See MoreOT- I've got a surgery date!
Comments (69)I'm taking it slow and being a good patient, listening to my body. I can't do everything that I used to yet, but it's way better than using that cane, walker and wheelchair that are sitting in the corner! I've taken up painting old furniture and am having a blast! I've learned how to make chalk paint and am creating my own wax stains and paint colors with tints and white paint, so fun! So far I've painted an old childs' ladder back chair -yellow, an old oak mirror, silver and gold, and my bathroom vanity, to match the mirror. I've also painted my heavy wooden microwave cabinet, white, for my daughter. I've started stripping an oak cedar chest in the garage. I also found 2 french country coffee tables for $20! I plan to paint them too. I'm also slowly clearing out my gardens from last years' dead grass. The soil is so deep and soft from all the years' of compost and horse manure. Little by little. My gardens went to weeds last year, but hopefully, by summer time, they will be beautiful again! Margaret, you are in my prayers for a full recovery. Keep smiling and praising God for how far you've come and you'll get there! I am so aware of His healing hand on me, I just marvel in His mercy and love!...See MoreOT:Twins UpDate
Comments (5)Oh, the twins are totally precious...and BIG. They are just too darling laying int he hammock together! What sweethearts. I saved the photo of the pumpkin centerpiece for our Inspiration album (that I'm waaaay behind on). I REALLY like the idea of the frame crossing the tray, looks wonderful. I had to smile at Bigfoot, the scarecrow, he's a cutie. All the decorations look warm and inviting. Your rustic home, by the creek, seems like heaven to me. Even tho I live in Phoenix, I never was and never will be a city girl. I miss the country life. Glad you got your decorations posted for us to see. Hope you are doing ok. hugs, Karen...See MoreOT - Got a start date!
Comments (10)I will! The most exciting aspect of January is, once they get us started... i.e. the foundation is forming up, I get to order my STOVE! .. lol... Trevor will be happy to actually get that invoice written up :P I am going to get the Manual Clean 48" Culinarian with 6 burners and a 12" griddle. Going to add red knobs and a wok grate... debated adding TWO wok grates because I have a few woks and when I get to cooking, I have been known to have more than one going at once. heh...but, right now, only one grate ;) Wish he had his dadgum safety knobs done already... would have rather had those :( Anyway, gotta order the trim kit for the Frigidaire single fridge and freezer combo as well as a 60 or 72" mantle for the fireplace.. not sure which one we will be getting, but we decided to order those ourselves so we could have more control over what we pick out. Russ...See Morevee_new
