The 29 & 7/8" is to the outermost edge of the oven door handle and maybe the the front edges of the control knobs. Those are typically 2½" proud of the front of the mass of the stove, if not more. For aesthetic purposes, it is the mass of the stove, not the protrusion of oven handles and knobs that catch the eye. April_love's installation looks standard. What you want is for the side openings on the oven door to be at least ½" or so beyond the face of cabinets. If the oven door gasket ever starts leaking heat, you won't be singing/charring the front edges of your cabinets. Some Euro-stoves are not as deep as the standard for the North American market, but you still need to have the edges of the oven opening proud of the surrounding base cabinets. . Generally. most concerns with slide-ins are a little different: (a) is the model designed to go flush against the back wall (as a freestanding range does) or do they have a bump out on the back that will require a filler strip between the wall and backsplash and the back of the cooktop part? and (b) how high are the countertops and will the stove legs adjust enough to let you lower the cooktop rim to the countertop?

I skimmed through the previous thread and it answered the questions I had regarding how you arrived at this layout. I'm wondering, though... Looking at your home's overall layout, it seems your existing kitchen location is disproportionate to the rest of the house; A large dining area with extra sitting area and a squished kitchen. The type of kitchen you want--island seating for four, wall oven--requires a larger space. Have you considered putting your kitchen in the present dining/sitting area? In my minds eye it would make more sense to have a dining room in that front room with the picture window and locate the kitchen with a direct connection to the backyard. Here are several images to show what I'm suggesting. I tried to satisfy your kitchen criteria, I also tried to keep that main walkway between the front hall and the mudroom clear, to maintain a connection between an eating area and the living room. I've never had a appliance garage and the Ikea software is limited in drawing something like that up, but I'm wondering if you could create a small appliances station in a cabinet to the right of the patio door to keep toast makers and coffee brewers out of the main prep space?

@dan1888 I didn’t post the whole layout since it’s still being configured and rendered. Final measurements were taken yesterday, now that demo is completed. I was trying my best to center range with island. The new 33 inch sink now is centered with the big 70 inch window? To right of window is 12 inches then wall. Should I not center the sink there? The L-shape is about 225 1/8 by 119.5. There will be an island. But it begins with like a 25 by 25 big chimney (left side kinda in front of left of range) that was unable to be removed. Exact island measurements were taken today now that chimney is only thing standing in the room between kitchen and dining room Things needed: —coat closet even small one Previous one was 21 inches. Given that it abuts a door frame, I don't think this is the disaster that others think it is. You could either choose to align it with the edge of the ceiling, or the edge of the door. You choose the door. It looks far more purposeful than if it just randomly stopped in the middle of a wall. I think this isn't much different than when people make the decision between whether to horizontally run the backsplash to the end of the upper cabinet versus to the end of the countertop. Neither decision is wrong. I think once your kitchen is finished, this won't be a big deal. I would NOT put something on top.
