Daughters bedroom finished! Now I just need the finishing touches
Comments (23)Love the bedding and the pink accent items. The bedside lamp is super cute. Perhaps a valance or some curtain panels in a pink print like used in that toss pillow on the bed would add a nice touch to the window. Good luck finding some art work/pictures for the walls....See MoreNeed help with paint color ideas for daughter's bedroom
Comments (9)Love that bed, those curtains and a classic look! Hard to tell colors in the curtains, but maybe a soft blush or cream for paint? We changed my youngest daughters room four different times throughout her years. Paint and comforters, tried to stick with furniture pieces that would age with her. At one point, she had pink, lime, purple and zebra! She picked it out and loved it at the time, but looking back- I'm not sure how she fell asleep, I know it jarred my senses when I was in there! She's evolved to a more 'serene' style in her college years, thank goodness!...See Moredaughters bedroom
Comments (8)If you don’t want to paint trim in her room only and because the crib is also dark, I would suggest a deep cream wall color so room feels soft and calm. In the image below, put your finger over the lower half up to baseboard and it will give you the feel of dark trim. Add a neutral rug as well. Maybe down the road you will be considering paining trim throughout the house and when converting her room from a nursery that could be a more convenient time, especially if going with white furniture....See Morehelp with this wall decor - daughter’s bedroom in
Comments (18)There’s a lot of visual noise with the headboard and blanket - would she be open to using a solid cover comforter to create some separation between them and let the eye rest, then folding her photo blanket at the foot of the bed? Depending on how it’s folded, it looks like a row of photos can be visible at a time, and refolded periodically to feature a different row. I like a “nap blanket” at the foot of the bed anyway so the entire bed doesn’t have to be remade if someone wants a take a quick rest. The walls are a bright, bold color, especially against the backdrop of snow outside. That view should be also be considered as “art”. Drapes can help soften the contrast transition as well as add texture, and complimentary art above the bed can pull that side of the room together. I appreciate your approach to this and hope you and your daughter are enjoying the process together!...See MoreUser
