Garden Junk Signage.... Show me yours!
Comments (18)I've always loved the little blocks, I've think I saved a pic of a little lamp made with them on it. Susie's idea of No BS made me laugh out loud! Too funny. Love that little bear sign, seems that Sandy found the perfect thing for Kirk and Carol. I think several of us could use a No cure for collecting sign or a Hoard and collect one. Great ideas everyone. Luvs...See Moredo I need to leave room to expand in my junk drawer?
Comments (10)Talley: I'm embarrassed to say that I plugged my labeler into one of those GFI outlets and the safety switch was triggered so the outlet was shut off. I found this out because it shut off half of the outlets in the kitchen as well (another effect of a bad remodel!). I don't know why this happened since I had just used the outlet earlier that day, but it is a reminder to reset the outlet before running to the fuse box. So my faithful MS p-touch is ready to label whatever Nerf guns require it. But just in case, can you link the model you have now? (I agree that a dressier font would be a great option to have). If you could post a link showing the model you have now, I would be so grateful! A final thank you for procuring my labeler. It was $35 which seemed like so much money at the time. That was before we sent kids to college. Now anything under $20K seems like such a deal! Check out this link which offers a suggestion on how to save excess tape at either side of the label. I plan to do this if my MS labeler will allow the change. Here is a link that might be useful: Adjusting P-Touch Label Margins...See MorePlease show me your drawers (under your cooktop)
Comments (27)Not under a cooktop but the same idea- middle drawer of a 30" frameless cabinet. These are not adjustable, (mine and predate when I could do that easily) Spacing is 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 clear between and dividers are 4-1/4" (4-1/2" max) high to allow lids and (11") fry pans to tilt enough to clear and saucepans to sit front to back. It also allows much easier access than full height dividers. Drawer box sides should be full height if at all possible. Larger fry pans, square sided sauteuse, woks, etc. get stored elsewhere. Usually with tray dividers in base cabinet though the first two can work in the top drawer of a frameless caibnet. (I hate stacking) Nowadays I spec adjustable in most brands, the one brand that I can't do that with we put them in with pocket hole screws and fit them to the clients actual stuff....See MorePlease Show Me Your 36'' Drawers
Comments (23)Don't have pix yet (soon!), but I used two 4" pulls on my 36-inch and 33-inch drawers (one pull on my 24-inch and 27-inch drawers). The double pulls give a "furniture"-like appearance, as you've seen in others' photos. If I could have found a more traditional-looking 8"-10" pull that I considered affordable (I needed LOTS of them), I think I would have gone that route. But I don't regret having used the double-pull scheme, which actually had been recommended by the cabinet guy (and he wasn't selling the pulls)....See Morecarolb_w_fl_coastal_9b
