Master Bedroom Accent Wall
Comments (4)3 and 4 are nice. But,,, If you pick a different wood, one that isn't quite so 'country rustic', you can get away w/a lot more design options. you know you can use any type of TG wood flooring, right? I used a really nice french oak engineered flooring on my ceiling in my bathroom. And look on craigslist for people selling their leftovers. you can find great deals. I found 200sq ft for mine at less than half of what it would have cost me. if you do something a little more refined looking, you could do a nice velvet tufted headboard and still have it look nice. for instance, that french oak that i did would look great w/this black velvet. you could also do walnut flooring for the wall, or something like this, if you do like the pallet wood or rustic reclaimed stuff, then maybe soften it a bit by doing this: i think these are porcelain tiles, below reclaimed oak in a herringbone. you could also just do this in a solid color, one stain. these are just some other options so you won't have a wall that looks like straight pallet wood. that is trendy. look for the closeouts on some nicer wood...See MoreTime to Panic. Comments (7)You could go in one of two directions: warm earth tones like clay/brick reds or darker french grays, or you could go with Khaki or olive greens. Stone house is a very yellow-y beige, so stay away from cooler colors....See MoreFinally wallpapered my angled bedroom accent wall!
Comments (9)Thanks everyone. Jessica....so true! I initially was looking at wallpaper that I thought other people would like or “was expected” and then realized that this is MY room. I’m really happy that I went with what I love instead....See Moregraywings123
