I think there are very few on this Board who have this dryer....perhaps a few in the UK or Germany!

Heat pump dryers, especially the US version that will somehow run on 110V.....an average load will most likely take 2-3 hours to dry!!

Is it definitely going to be on 110V? Does your Little Giant dry completely or are garments somewhat damp at the end of a cycle? We are looking for a compact stackable, and vented is okay.

On the Little Giant condenser, you can enter supervisor level and there are 1000s of options, LOL. I have purposely set the moisture level to leave a tiny bit of residual moisture, since this is best for fabrics and is how most Europeans do laundry.

But, besides some socks and underwear that are a cotton/bamboo blend, almost everything comes out perfectly dry, smooth and wrinkle free.

A very strange occurrence with condenser dryers....when you open the door at the cycle end, and you remove laundry, items still feel kind of moist. By the time you fold them or hang them...they are dry. It is an odd moist to touch sensation that goes away very quickly!

Thank you so much for your feedback on the Little Giant. How long does it take for you to dry a mixed load in general?

sagoldst....Most loads are dry in under an hour, sometimes 45-50 mins. This includes a self-programmed extended Cooling Down at the cycle's end.

If the load is small to medium, I will usually have a 30-40 min dry time. For a large load, or loads that have a lot of thick materials, then dry times will be longer.

To be honest, most dry times are really not much longer than a vented dryer. I am VERY impressed with my Miele Little Giant Condensing dryer!

@ Jakvis...YES a heat pump dryer uses less power than a condenser dryer, but they are also MUCH slower to dry! So efficient in terms of electricity, not efficient in terms of time. I love the lower power consumption of a heat pump, but 2-3 hours to dry most loads is, to me, not acceptable.

Like with all things in life...pluses and minuses!

I have the new spec sheet. the washer is 23 1/2 w, 33 1/2- 34 3/4 h, including the door, it's 25 5/16 d, excluding door, it's 23, 5/8 deep

drum volume 2.26 cft

load capacity 17.6 lbs.

I'm comparing the little giant and these and trying to figure out the pros and cons. I'm not sure! I still don't know if these are big enough for me. I hope that helped!
