tomncath, JFYI, If you have firehouse subs in your area you can buy their pickle buckets for $2 each and save a little money. My local Lowes charges $4.50 each! Plus they donate the money to charity. elisa_Z5, You do know that sweet potatoes set roots and produce more potatoes from those roots if you let them sprawl? drayven, Like others have said, peppers, cukes, melons, ETC. I don't have any now I disposed of them years ago after they fell apart and were unusable as cages. The parts are still in use several places around the farm. I used them to repair fence, replace lost clips on my tractor, made hangers for storing stuff. I even used some pieces for a gas welding repair in a pinch. I like the Christmas tree idea! I won't comment on Madonna!

I want to include a Birdhouse and a Birdfeeder. My Birdfeeder is very large and I hung it last summer and was still out till recently when it needed seed and found out the thing broke at the top where you take it off to add seed ... so I'm mounting it on a pole and it will be just fine that way. It is VERY heavy so I can't have a tall pole for it. I included a picture of my bird feeder. It is 13 x 13 and has 9 feeding stations, 11lb capacity. I want to have a birdhouse separate but not too far away. Have an idea to put these alongside our ramp ... will look nice with some vines I think. :) Also, I know this bird feeder can be pole mounted because a couple people told me about how to do it. I saved that info and it says The pipe needs to be no wider than 7/8 of an inch. Anyway, looking forward to mounting that and I have to find a nice bird house to also mount on a pole. We have lots of cats around here (including ours that goes outside) and squirrels, so I might have to figure a way to keep them out.

Love the cage, you can make a bottom of 1/2 x 1 in long mesh wire screen?(like chicken wire but heavier & different shaped) can make rabbit cages out of it. The teal is such a pretty color & look at all the things you have the same color, can make a whole area of garden sparkle in teal!! Love the sled, reminds me of when I was a kid & got 1 lot like that for xmas, no money that year so dad got a couple of rejects from the dump & fixed up 1 nice sled for me. I really liked mine & was so happy but then saw neighbor kids brand new ones & was a little jealous until they challenged me to a race down a hill & I won by a lot, then they wanted to use mine, I said No thanks, I liked mine & of course had to run & tell dad when he got home that I had the fastest sled. It actually steered better too. Guess the others were too new! Jan

No problem. I just noticed spotted toehees about 2 months ago. My 4 year old likes "talking" to them. I had to find a site that had the sound they make to figure out what they were.
